Our History
Lower Providence Baptist Church dates back over 200 years.  It originates back to the “Holy Experiment” of William Penn when Baptists from Wales settled in the township of Lower Providence.

The current stone church is the fourth building on the site, and was built in 1877, using materials from the third church.

About Us

Greetings and thank you for taking the time to explore our website and getting to know us a little better. If you are currently looking for a church home or just visiting, at LPBC you'll feel right at home with our friendly and welcoming group of believers.

It has been my pleasure to serve LPBC since December 2020 and I can say without hesitation that I have never experienced a more loving and caring church.  I strive to make my messages biblically sound yet both challenging and relevant to the life issues we all face today.

I originally come from Phoenixville, PA and prior to my call to ministry, I worked as a firefighter and later as a foreman/designer for a fire sprinkler contractor. Before answering God's call to pastoral ministry, I served as the National Disaster Relief Coordinator for American Baptist Men USA where I worked at establishing a nationwide network of volunteers and equipment ready to respond to and assist with disaster recovery.

I received my MDiv from Palmer Theological Seminary and have pastored churches in Pottstown and Springfield (DelCo), PA as well as Hoosick Falls, NY. I also served as the Assoc. Pastor of Parkerford Baptist Church in Spring City, PA.

Blessing,

Pastor Ken Webster
